Now for some background on the review process. Every book reviewed on this site I have personally read. However, there are a lot of reviews out there for pretty much every book. What I do is research and collate those reviews into a single one.
Now, that may sound like I’m using other people’s work, and to an extent, that is pretty accurate. However, it takes time to research those reviews, and generate a single, coherent review.
Where the collated review differs significantly from my own opinion, then I will update the review accordingly.
To accurately do the reviews, I have to take into account what other people are saying about the book, my opinion on it’s own is not enough, as it isn’t an unbiased account for you to make a decision on what to read next.
